idCAT app for iPhone and iPad

This is an application for managing and using idCAT in mobile devices. IdCAT is a digital identifier issued by Consorci AOC (the Open Administration Consortium of Catalonia) for guaranteeing the identities of people on the Web.

It is one of the pilot applications selected as part of the Mobile Access to Personal Health Folder (PHF) (Accés a la Carpeta Personal de Salut) project for mobile devices sponsored by Mobile World Capital Barcelona and TICSalut. The project aims to test technology for using mobile devices as authentication elements for accessing the PHF securely.

"IdCAT - Identitat Digital" automates and simplifies the provisioning of the idCAT identifier to mobile devices and facilitates its use in Web pages and native applications while featuring a straightforward user experience:

- It lets you request the idCAT identifier and configure it in your mobile device. You can also browse related information.
- It protects the use of the idCAT identifier with a PIN that you set and can change.
- You can use it in any browser or application.

The pilot has been developed by Consorci Administració Oberta de Catalunya (www.aoc.cat) using technology from Safelayer Secure Communications (www.safelayer.com).
